Our client is a Chartered Financial Planning Practice in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. They are current recruiting a Senior Para-planner to join their technical team at their Knutsford offices.
Candidatesmust be able to analysis information and conduct research appropriate to producearticulate and appropriate suitability reports. This must be done in such a way as to ensure that the firm’s client and service propositions aredelivered in an efficient and robust way, whilst maintaining high levels ofrisk management, operational effectiveness.
- Receivinginstructions during debriefings from advisers following client meetings.
- Interpretingdata obtained by advisers during client meetings.
- Analysingdata and using research tools to provide solutions to meet client needs andobjectives.
- Providingrecords to support research undertaken.
- Consolidationof client needs and objectives, together with the recommendations and course ofaction in a written format via suitability reports, client specificillustrations and key features document.
- Carryingout all tasks in a manner consistent with compliance procedures.
- Preparationof existing client files ready for reviews.
- Ensuring all client files are compliant on anongoing basis.
- Carryingout research and analysing products and services that is appropriate to eachclient’s financial circumstances.
- Proposingand drafting financial solutions that meet each client’s goals, needs andobjectives.
- At least 2 years’ experience working in aParaplanning role, for a financial planning organisation.
- Clear understanding of the financial planningprocess.
- The ability to produce professional andtechnical reports, to support the advice process.
- Able to work within defined business processes.
- Ability to achieve agreed outcomes withoutsupervision.
- Prioritise own work load, and the work load ofthe Paraplanning team.
- Ability to multi task and prioritiseeffectively.
- Good level of technical knowledge of investmentsand Pensions advice.
Qualifications:
- Level 4 Diploma qualified in financial planning
- High level of Investment and Pension knowledge.
- Self-driven, results-oriented with a positiveoutlook.
- A natural forward planner who criticallyassesses own performance.
- Good understanding of compliance issues.
- Reliable, tolerant, and determined.
- Keen for new experience, responsibility andaccountability.
- Able to get on with others and be a team-player.
