Our client is a busy and well-established financial services firm offering mortgage and protection advice. They are currently looking to recruit a Mortgage & Protection Case Manager to work from their modern offices in Macclesfield, Cheshire.
Position Overview
Support the mortgage and protection adviser by inputting client information on the IT systems, preparing documentation for the client and liaising with client, lender, protection provider, solicitor and adviser until the mortgage completes and the policy is put on risk.
Essential Job Functions
- Maintain a file of client personal information (e.g. identification, financial information) so that it is saved on systems and shared with lenders as required.
- Review client data on Midas to ensure it is complete and accurate.
- Prepare a pack of information for the client and send it to them, if required.
- Liaise with lender, client and adviser to ensure that the lender has all they need to make an offer.
- Liaise with solicitor as the case moves to completion, giving regular updates to the client on progress.
- Liaise with providers to ensure that they have all the information required to accept a policy.
- Liaise with clients to provide any information that is required by providers.
- Liaise with medical practices to ensure that doctors' reports are provided, where necessary.
- Put policies on risk.
- Take payment of broker fee, using the Strike system.
These functions need to be fulfilled with a desire to satisfy clients and meticulous attention to detail so that data is accurate and processes are followed in a compliant way.
