We are recruiting for an experienced Site Foreman to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering a major infrastructure project at RAF Lakenheath.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a long-term scheme, overseeing the safe and efficient delivery of roads, drainage and utility infrastructure works on a high-profile defence project.

The Role
- Managing and coordinating up to 5 gangs across multiple work fronts.
- Supervising day-to-day site operations to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.
- Planning labour, plant and materials to maximise productivity.
- Ensuring all Health & Safety procedures are followed, including daily briefings and site inspections.
- Liaising closely with the Site Manager, Engineers and subcontractors.
- Monitoring quality, productivity and progress while resolving site issues as they arise.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Foreman on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Strong background in roads, drainage, utilities and earthworks.
- Experience managing multiple gangs simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- SMSTS or SSSTS.
- CSCS Card.
- First Aid at Work (desirable).
- Experience working on defence or high-security projects would be advantageous.
This is a 12-month freelance contract offering long-term, stable work on one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects.
