We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a major enabling and top-down demolition project in the City of London. The role involves managing soft strip, hazardous materials removal, complex temporary works, Brokk/hoist demolition sequences and heavily constrained logistics on a high-profile redevelopment site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site delivery, safety and programme.
- Lead soft strip, haz-mat removal and top-down demolition phases.
- Oversee temporary works, gantry, scaffold, hoist and party-wall protection.
- Coordinate logistics including pit-lane, traffic marshals and waste removal.
- Maintain compliance with Section 60/61 and City of London permits.
- Liaise with the client, neighbours, Tower 42 Estate and stakeholders.
- Produce progress reports and manage monitoring (dust, noise, vibration).
About You:
- Proven experience managing demolition/enabling projects in tight urban environments.
- Strong technical understanding of temporary works and demolition sequencing.
- SMSTS essential; CCDO/TWC/First Aid/Asbestos Awareness desirable.
- Excellent communicator, organised, proactive and safety-focused.
