We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join one of the UK's leading civil engineering contractors on a flagship defence infrastructure project at RAF Brize Norton.
This is a rare opportunity to work on a high-profile airfield infrastructure scheme involving extensive resurfacing, heavy civil engineering and utilities works on one of the UK's busiest military airbases.

The Role
- You will take ownership of engineering activities across major packages of work including:
- Setting out for airfield resurfacing works
- Roads, pavements and reinforced concrete elements
- Drainage and underground utilities
- Ducting and service installations
- Quality assurance and ITP completion
- Managing subcontractors and engineering teams
- Survey control and as-built records
- Liaising closely with Site Managers and Project Managers
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately and to programme
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Engineer on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Strong setting out experience using Total Station and GPS
- Experience with highways, airfields, infrastructure or utilities preferred
- Excellent understanding of QA procedures and engineering documentation
- CSCS Card
- SMSTS desirable
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Security Requirements
Due to the nature of the project, applicants must be capable of obtaining the necessary security clearance.
British Nationals are strongly preferred due to the security clearance requirements associated with this defence project.
