We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major water project based in Southampton. Working alongside and reporting to the Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for setting out, quality assurance and supporting the successful delivery of works on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out for large-diameter pipework and associated infrastructure.
- Setting out for small reinforced concrete (RC) works.
- Carrying out site surveys, levels and checks.
- Completing and maintaining QA documentation and site records.
- Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications.
- Liaising with site management, subcontractors and other engineers.
- Identifying and reporting technical or quality issues.
- Providing regular progress updates to the Senior Engineer.
The Candidate
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering.
- Water, utilities or pipeline experience would be highly advantageous.
- Competent with setting-out equipment and surveying.
- Experience delivering RC works and pipework installations.
- Good understanding of QA procedures and construction drawings.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
