We are seeking an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a 9-month contract in Portsmouth.
The role will involve working on a mix of new-build housing and refurbishment projects, where you will play a vital role in the commercial success of the works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement and subcontractor package management
- Tendering and tender analysis
- Cost validation and cost control
- Estimating and budgeting
- Management and agreement of final accounts
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry
- Experience in residential new build and refurbishment projects preferred
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple workstreams
Contract Details:
- Rate: £330 – £375 per day (depending on experience)
- Duration: Approximately 9 months
- Location: Portsmouth
- Start: Immediate / by agreement
