Our client is recruiting for a Manufacturing Project Manager (Electrical Components) to join a market-leading, award-winning manufacturer specialising in high-quality electrical assemblies. This is a key leadership position with full responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of Factory Built Assembly (FBA) projects, including Siemens SIVACON S4 Switchboards, ALPHA BS Panel Boards, and Distribution Boards.
As the Manufacturing Project Manager, you will oversee every stage of the project lifecycle from initial customer enquiry through design, production, and post-delivery support. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest industry standards, including BS EN 61439.
What You’ll Be Doing as the Manufacturing Project Manager:
- Managing the full lifecycle of electrical assembly projects from enquiry to aftercare
- Leading estimating, engineering, and project coordination teams
- Ensuring project performance through cost, quality, and delivery tracking
- Overseeing accurate design and quotation processes in line with technical specifications
- Inputting and maintaining project data within SAP systems
- Engaging with customers to ensure all technical and commercial requirements are met
- Driving team performance through leadership, coaching, and structured feedback
What We’re Looking For in a Manufacturing Project Manager:
- Proven track record in delivering electrical or engineering projects
- Experience in low-voltage switchgear or control panel projects is highly desirable
- HNC/ONC in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong working knowledge of BS EN 61439 and SAP
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Comfortable managing cross-disciplinary teams in a technical environment
