Our client, a PE-backed manufacturing and field service business based in Surrey, is looking for a hands-on Accounts Payable professional to join their small but growing finance team. Reporting to an engaging Finance Manager, you'll have real ownership of the end-to-end AP process at a pivotal moment in the company's journey - this is a business going through exciting change, and they need someone who can help professionalise the way finance operates.
Day to day, you'll be responsible for:
- The accurate and timely posting of supplier invoices and credit notes
- Managing and resolving queries in close collaboration with internal departments and suppliers
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Onboarding new suppliers
- Maintaining master data
- Processing payment runs
- Handling expense claims and credit card postings
- Keeping the AP mailbox and payables records in good order
During month-end close and other related activities, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the finance function.
