The Role
You'll play a pivotal role in supporting both the financial and operational performance of the business, taking responsibility for areas including:
- Managing the invoicing process across a portfolio of projects and clients
- Monitoring accounts receivable and supporting cash collection activities
- Producing financial and operational reports for senior stakeholders
- Analysing project profitability, utilisation and commercial performance
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and business planning activities
- Assisting with fee proposals, project budgets and commercial documentation
- Supporting contract administration and project set-up processes
- Producing management information and commercial analysis for leadership meetings
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives, automation projects and reporting enhancements
- Supporting wider business growth and operational initiatives
About You
We're keen to hear from individuals who combine strong financial acumen with commercial curiosity. You may currently be working in a Finance Analyst, Commercial Analyst, Finance Operations, Accounts Management, Revenue Operations or Project Finance role and be looking for broader exposure and greater influence. You'll ideally bring:
- 3-5 years' experience within finance, commercial operations or a similar role
- Experience managing invoicing and accounts receivable processes
- Strong Excel and reporting skills
- Confidence analysing financial and operational data
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive approach and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders
Experience within professional services, consultancy, project-led or client-focused environments would be advantageous, although this is by no means essential.
