About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and commercially driven recruiter with a proven background in temporary staffing and niche candidate sourcing. The successful candidate will focus on sourcing and placing Doctors and Consultants into NHS Framework assignments across Northern Ireland. You will play a key role in growing and developing our medical desk, building strong relationships with both clients and candidates while delivering a first-class recruitment service. Key Responsibilities
- Source, recruit and place Doctors and Consultants into temporary NHS assignments throughout Northern Ireland
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with NHS clients and medical professionals
- Proactively headhunt and attract high-quality candidates within niche medical specialisms
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of available candidates
- Ensure compliance with NHS Framework standards and internal procedures
- Negotiate rates, availability and placement terms
- Coordinate bookings and manage candidate availability
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both clients and candidates
- Work towards agreed revenue and placement targets
- Maintain accurate records using internal CRM and recruitment systems
- Contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the medical division
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within recruitment, preferably temporary staffing
- Demonstrable success in placing candidates within niche or hard-to-fill sectors
- Proven billing track record and strong commercial awareness
- Excellent sourcing and headhunting abilities
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Motivated, ambitious and target-driven
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience recruiting within the healthcare or medical sector
- Knowledge of NHS Frameworks and agency staffing procedures
- Existing network of Doctors, Consultants or healthcare professionals
- Experience using recruitment CRM systems and candidate databases
