Brancepeth Court Nursing Home is our 44 bedded nursing home designed to meet a wide range of needs from elderly to learning disabilities. Catering for 24/7 residential care, elderly care, end of life care, respite care and nursing care, service users with a range of mental health and physical disabilities are afforded the best possible care.
We are looking for dedicated nurses to join our team within the home. You have excellent support from our Senior Manager, Care Manager and Deputy within the home.
Nurse main Responsibilities:- Ensure that residents are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing.
- Undertake the care planning activities for residents to meet changing physical, psychological and social needs, taking into consideration privacy, dignity, personal choice and informed consent.
- Ensure person-centred care plans are developed in collaboration with residents, their families and friends (where appropriate) and members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Support effective communication with the residents’ families, friends, advocates or representatives around all aspects of care and wellbeing.
- Undertake all aspects of medicine management in line with legal, professional and regulatory requirements.
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals supported by the service, including the reporting of any safeguarding concerns.
- A registered mental nurse with experience of managing a team.
