We’re looking for a creative, brand and/or digital Client Director (Account Director) who cares deeply about the work they’re doing, and who brings calm, structure and clarity to complex projects. This role sits at the heart of Bond & Coyne. You’ll own day-to-day client delivery across a set of accounts, lead delivery on larger retained partnerships, and turn ambitious ideas into well-run, thoughtful work. You’ll be someone who enjoys complexity, knows how to organise it, and takes pride in making things run smoothly for clients and teams alike.
You’ll work closely with insight, creative and digital teams, keeping everyone aligned and focused. You’ll spot issues early, manage detail without getting lost in it, and create the conditions for high-quality work to happen consistently. A lot of our work is with organisations that want to leave the world in a better place than they found it, and you’ll play a central role in helping that ambition turn into meaningful, effective brands, campaigns, content and digital platforms.
What you’ll be doing:
- Owning day-to-day client delivery across a set of your own accounts, as well as nurturing relationships across a wider portfolio
- Managing delivery on complex brand, creative and digital programmes
- Bringing clarity to scopes, timelines and budgets, and keeping work commercially healthy
- Mentoring, managing and supporting our Client Management team, empowering them to do great work for our clients
- Working closely with strategy, creative and digital teams to keep work moving
- Improving how we plan, resource, manage and deliver work across the agency
- Noticing opportunities for client growth as work develops and sharing these with senior colleagues
Example projects you might work on:
- A strategic brand refresh for a large UK university, working with senior stakeholders and creative teams
- The development of a bespoke AI co-pilot for a group of internationally dispersed schools, coordinating strategy, design and digital delivery
- Managing a retained strategic creative and design partnership for a sustainability and recycling NGO in the UK
- Delivering a new website for an ethically minded, globally recognised financial services organisation, bringing clarity to complex content and technical requirements
Who we’re hoping to meet:
- Someone with solid agency experience (typically 6–8+ years) in client services or project management. You may be an established Account Director or an experienced Senior Account or Project Manager looking for your next step.
- Someone who enjoys bringing order to complexity
- Someone calm, organised and commercially aware
- Someone collaborative, pragmatic and thoughtful in how they work
