Bonas MacFarlane has been at the forefront of the educational sector for over 30 years, providing educational advice, consultancy and tuition to a wide network of clients. Our vibrant team works closely with one another to focus on their clients’ needs, ensuring that the best fit for the student is at the heart of their work.

The role will be within our Tuition Team, managing several different stakeholders, placing candidates in roles both in the UK and abroad, organising events and forums. We’re a small and hard-working company with several opportunities for a candidate to grow and take on responsibility quickly.

What does the role involve?

  • As an Account Manager, you will develop as you learn more about the education industry and develop meaningful relationships with families.
  • Within the first year, you will:
    • Build client relationships.
    • Manage our large team of tutors.
    • Write a weekly report and analyse the monthly data to report on.
    • Recruit and interview tutors.
    • Software and administrative management.
    • Develop a strong understanding of the UK independent sector.
    • Be confident to meet and advise families.
    • Interpret Educational Psychologist reports.
    • Organise and manage events.
    • Create and implement new services.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in a customer service role.
  • A team player.
  • Computer proficiency and full working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Ability to work well under time constraints and to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Ambition and drive to succeed, we are looking to build a career for you.
  • Good sense of humour.
  • If you have a good understanding of the independent education sector or speak additional languages, this would be a benefit, but not essential.

Location: Battersea Power Station

Salary: based on experience

Contract: Full-Time

Flexible working: Tuesday-Thursday office, Monday and Friday WFH
