We are looking for an experienced pizza chef or fornaio to join our team at Bona Sourdough in Forest Hill. The role requires leading the kitchen team, setting standards, and supporting the Executive Chef in running the business.
Responsibilities:
- Lead kitchen staff and manage team dynamics.
- Maintain high quality and consistency of all pizza offerings.
- Train and mentor staff, ensuring a positive work environment.
- Assist the Executive Chef with daily operations and scheduling.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a pizza chef or head chef, preferably with a background in bakery or fornaio.
- Excellent people-management and communication skills.
- Ability to work 40-45 hours per week with two days off guaranteed.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.
