We are looking for a hotel reservations specialist to join our team to assist with planning and coordinating our clients’ travel plans. Tasks will include researching, booking, and managing hotel accommodations for our clients, ensuring they receive the best rates, amenities, and experiences at luxury hotels worldwide. The position is offered on a full-time basis though we would be happy to consider a part time arrangement for the right candidate. A competitive salary will be offered in line with experience.
Key Responsibilities- Research and secure hotel accommodations based on client preferences and requirements
- Check availability and look up rates for a variety of hotels and room configurations
- Use consortia rates and preferred partner programmes to ensure the best pricing and added value for clients
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of luxury hotel offerings, promotions, and special packages
- Communicate effectively with hotel partners about our clients’ needs and preferences
- Process booking modifications and cancellations
- Stay informed about travel updates and destination-specific requirements
- Opportunity to attend hotel sales and networking events
- Experience in hotel reservations, preferably within the luxury travel sector
- Working knowledge of consortia rates (Virtuoso) and hotel preferred partner programmes
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with a major GDS is a plus, but not essential
