Luxury Travel Reservations Agent

Overview

We are looking for a travel reservations specialist to join our team to assist with planning and coordinating our clients travel plans.

Tasks will include researching, booking and managing hotel accommodations for our clients, ensuring they receive the best rates, amenities, and experiences at luxury hotels worldwide.

The position is offered on a full time basis, although we would be happy to consider a part time arrangement for the right candidate.

A competitive salary will be offered in line with experience.

The role is a remote job, with the occasional requirement to work in person with the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and secure hotel accommodations based on client preferences and requirements
• Checking availability and looking up rates for a variety of hotels and room configurations
• Using consortia rates and preferred partner programmes to ensure the best pricing and added value for clients
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of luxury hotel offerings, promotions, and special packages
• Communicate effectively with hotel partners about our clients needs and preferences
• Process booking modifications and cancellations
• Stay informed about travel updates and destination-specific requirements
• Opportunity to attend hotel sales and networking events

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in hotel reservations, preferably within the luxury travel sector
• Working knowledge of consortia rates (Virtuoso) and hotel preferred partner programmes
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
• Customer service focus
• Proficiency with a major GDS is a plus, but not essential
