Bombardier’s Business Aircraft London Service Centre in Biggin Hill is part of an award-winning network and is the flagship of Bombardier’s European operation. This Base and Line Maintenance Centre is the fastest-growing Service Centre in Europe and the largest Business Aircraft OEM in the UK. The facility has the capabilities to perform an array of maintenance checks, modifications and upgrades all from this site. Only 14 miles from London, Bombardier’s Biggin Hill Service Centre is ideally located to support operators in the UK region and beyond.
In your role, you will:
- Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
- Perform and document all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.
As our ideal candidate, you have:
- A UK CAA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License: B2 and/or C.
- Up-to-date basic knowledge requirements of Appendix I to Part-66.
- Basic knowledge of Part-M, Part-145 and any other relevant regulations.
- At least 6 months of actual relevant aircraft or component maintenance experience in any consecutive 2-year period.
- Experience working with our aircraft, but will consider other Business Aircraft makes as well.
- Knowledge on, and practicing of, human factors, human performance and limitations.
- Knowledge on EWIS and CDCCL when relevant.
- Experience working during the last two years on at least one aircraft type for each license (sub)category.
- Current on all training requirements (recurrent/continuation training).
- The ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings.
- The ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual tasks and/or aircraft status.
- The ability to use standard tools, special tools and operate ground support equipment.
- The ability to work in accordance with the maintenance data and to notify the function responsible of defects or mistakes requiring rectification to re-establish required maintenance standards.
- The ability to use information systems (computer skills).
- Experience on business jet aircraft - preferred.
