Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily operations of the stores department, including receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing aircraft parts and supplies.
- Ensure proper documentation and labelling of inventory items in compliance with Bombardier's standards and aviation regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using the company's inventory management system.
- Support the physical organization of the store, ensuring items are stored in an orderly manner and according to safety regulations.
- Assist with stock checks and inventory audits, helping to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Help prepare parts and materials for aircraft maintenance and repair operations.
- Collaborate with the procurement and maintenance teams to ensure timely availability of parts and materials.
- Support the team with data entry and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Adhere to Bombardier's health, safety, and environmental policies, ensuring compliance with all relevant aviation and warehouse safety standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to optimize store operations and reduce downtime.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and logistics is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
