Bombardier’s Business Aircraft London Service Centre in Biggin Hill is part of an award-winning network and is the flagship of Bombardier’s European operation. This Base and Line Maintenance Centre is the fastest-growing Service Centre in Europe and the largest Business Aircraft OEM in the UK. The facility has the capabilities to perform an array of maintenance checks, modifications and upgrades all from this site. Only 14 miles from London, Bombardier’s Biggin Hill Service Centre is ideally located to support operators in the UK region and beyond.
What are your contributions to the team?
- Adhere to Bombardier General Work Rules and Code of Ethics, Compliance, and general workplace practices.
- Manage the implementation of major projects through the product development process from concept to launch.
- Collaborate with Vendors, Aftermarket Sales team, Engineering, and other Product Administrators to establish pricing and downtime for modification project quotations.
- Assist in defining, implementing and continuous improvement of the product development processes for Avionics, Interior, and Airframe modifications on all Bombardier aircraft models.
- Review products with multiple modifications for pricing trends.
- Research new products/concepts to continuously improve our product portfolio and adhere to our roadmap.
- Work with vendors to improve relationships and product partnerships.
- Monitor product sales data.
- Ensure products are consistently created and maintained in accordance with policies and procedures.
How to thrive in this role?
- You have a minimum of 8 years previous experience with complex avionics and interior modifications and/or products.
- You possess thorough knowledge of IT interfaces with aircraft.
- You have a minimum of 5 years previous experience working in a customer service-oriented environment.
- You have a minimum of 5 years maintenance or avionics modification experience on Bombardier manufactured aircraft.
- You have 2+ years product development experience.
- You possess a bachelor’s degree in aviation, or related field, or equivalent work experience (5+ years Business Aviation on-aircraft work experience).
- You possess planning and organizational skills necessary to prioritize and coordinate workload within a multiple project setting.
- You are skilled in researching methods for obtaining technical information and marketing analysis.
- You have sound working knowledge of Service Bulletins and other technical documents, and a thorough knowledge of aircraft maintenance and modification programs.
- You have computer skills necessary to learn and/or operate MS Office, Outlook, and other web-based applications and operations specific software.
- You are skilled in developing and explaining technical avionics concepts.
- You have working knowledge of applicable FAA, EASA, and TCCA regulations and requirements for Part 91, 121, 135, 145, and other regulatory and certification requirements.
- You possess interpersonal skills necessary to interface, establish, maintain, and enhance effective working relationships with customers, co-workers, employees, management, and suppliers.
- You can articulate product benefits when interacting with customers and employees.
- You possess experience on the maintenance and modification of Interior and Avionics installations on Bombardier manufactured aircraft.
- You have previous experience working in a customer service-oriented environment.
- It is an asset if you have product development experience.
