Key Accountabilities
- Issue requests for quotations
- Analyse supplier quotations and participate in the preparation of sourcing recommendations
- Participate in the Divisional Purchasing New Product Introduction Team in product upgrade projects
- Participate in weekly staff meetings and learn to work as part of the team
- Assist Buyers in day-to-day commercial activities associated with managing a global supplier base
- Provide support to the European Commodity Buyers for Supplier Meetings
- Support the Procurement Program Manager in monthly/annual reporting
- Ensure all new parts are added to our internal systems
Knowledge Required
- Candidates should be working towards a degree in Commercial or Business Studies related courses
- Candidates must have good customer focused skills, to enable them to correspond effectively with suppliers
- Candidates should be able to work enthusiastically and efficiently within a team
- The successful candidate will be subject to background checks
