Key Tasks/Responsibilities
- Support and contribute to the development of fleet management and new build strategy.
- Keep an overview of the availability of the vessels.
- Monitor docking and CAPEX projects in compliance with company standards.
- Monitor area fleet performance.
- Advise on fleet renewal, modification or innovation.
- Follow up damage reports and (insurance) claims.
- Ensure follow up and implementation of new statutory and class requirements.
Required knowledge/experience
- Educational/certificates: Nautical college is a pré.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a managerial position at a shipping company. Seagoing experience is a pré.
- Other requirements: Knowledge of Quality Management Systems. Knowledge of Classification and Flag state requirements and certificates. Excellent command of the Dutch/English language, both oral and written. Fully proficient with computers and applications, including Microsoft Office.
