About the role

As Community Lead, you will be leading the interactions of Boltz within the global scientific and developer community, as well as helping maintain our open-source models. You will work both on our open-source models and users as well as our product users, engaging with them, helping them succeed with Boltz models and turning their feedback into insights for product and growth. This is a highly outward-facing role: you’ll be active in community channels, create technical content, support users, and help shape the culture of the Boltz ecosystem. You will work closely with the Head of Community & Growth Marketing, product, and research teams to ensure that the community remains engaged, supported, and continuously growing.

About you

Essentials:

  • Strong communicator with the ability to engage technical audiences (scientists, developers, ML practitioners)
  • Experience working with developer or open-source communities (Discord, Slack, GitHub, forums, etc.)
  • Comfortable creating content (tutorials, demos, walkthroughs, posts)
  • Empathetic and user-focused — you enjoy helping people solve problems
  • Able to operate in fast-moving environments and respond quickly to community needs

Nice to have:

  • Active users of the Boltz open source models
  • Experience as a developer advocate, community manager, or similar role
  • Familiarity with tools used in scientific or ML workflows
  • Experience contributing to or maintaining open-source projects
  • Presence in relevant communities (Twitter/X, GitHub, Discord, etc.)

What you’ll do:

  • Engage daily with the Boltz community across Discord, GitHub, and other channels
  • Support users in getting started and troubleshooting issues
  • Contribute to the open source models and repositories
  • Create technical content (guides, notebooks, videos, demos)
  • Help run community programs, events, and activations
  • Contribute to building a strong, collaborative community culture
