Deputy Operational Business Manager – Bolton NHS Foundation Trust

Full time 37.5 hours per week. Permanent post.

We are looking to recruit Deputy Operational Business Managers within the Surgery Division at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust. The position reports to the Operational Business Manager and will be responsible for the operational management of a range of clinical services, with a focus on General Surgery, Breast Services, Urology, and Head & Neck Services.

The Deputy Operational Business Manager will deliver national and local access and quality standards, lead service development, manage complaints, and drive income and cost improvement programmes. The role requires prioritisation, initiative, and effective communication with multi‑disciplinary teams and external partners.

Lead on projects to improve service delivery and patient experience, problem‑solve, and develop sustainable solutions with clinical and administrative colleagues.
