Job Summary: The Total Resort Employee assists the Resort Manager and Director of Guest Experience in offering excellent guest experience from any and all front-facing departments.

Essential Functions:

  • Fill in for any front-facing resort employee’s shift as needed.
  • Manage all resort snow shoveling as needed.
  • Assist or manage in Food & Beverage, Lodging, Guest Services, Ski & Ride program, Rental/Retail, Host program, Lift Ops, Downhill instruction, Summer Camp programming, and the Nordic Center during busy days and when needed.
  • Operate point of sales systems in many different locations.

Note: All Bolton Valley employees are required to perform alternate functions from time to time, both within and outside of their assigned department, particularly during peak periods such as holiday weekends.

Customer Service Expectations: Customer contact is daily, must be helpful, friendly, courteous, and professional in accordance with Bolton's commitment to providing superior customer service.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma
  • Current driver’s license

Required Knowledge And Skills: Knowledge of resort systems and experience in different resort departments to better help communication, staffing and other needs.

Physical And Mental Demands: Requires long periods of standing and walking while interacting with customers in person or over the phone. Some bending, twisting and lifting (up to 50 lbs.). Some tasks will be outdoors in a harsh winter environment. Some duties will be on snow tasks.

Work Environment: Work outside is performed in all weather conditions, including extreme cold, snow, wind and rain, on varied terrain surfaces.
