We are a 3-16 all age fully inclusive Academy. Our school has been on a fantastic journey over the last 18 months, and we are incredibly proud of our amazing staff and pupils. Our recent Ofsted and SIAMS inspections highlighted the fantastic progress we have made as an academy, and we are looking for someone to join us as we take our next steps.

WE ARE SEEKING A PASSIONATE CANDIDATE WHO:

  • Is a highly effective practitioner or demonstrates the potential to be so, having a clear understanding of the characteristics of high‑quality teaching and able to teach across the whole ability range.
  • Will quickly build rapport and effective professional relationships with both pupils and colleagues.
  • Will motivate children to work hard and try their best through passing on to them their infectious enthusiasm and passion for learning!
  • Will actively share good practice and seek to explore ways to improve their own and others’ teaching.
  • Will work hard to ensure all pupils make at least expected progress irrespective of their starting point and individual needs.
  • Will understand that behaviour management starts with the quality of teaching in the classroom.
  • Will demonstrate personal resilience and role model those personal qualities we wish to instil in our young people.

YOUR MAIN DUTIES WOULD BE:

  • To provide and deliver engaging lessons at both KS3 and KS4.
  • To raise standards across the subject in Teaching and Learning and curriculum leading to better outcomes for all.
  • To contribute more widely to the well‑being of our pupils, through being a form tutor, undertaking duties, and being a role model for them for their learning and their conduct.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings, training sessions, and contribute to whole‑school initiatives and improvement plans.
