Primary Teacher in Bolton

PRIMARY TEACHER MPS T1 - T9 (£32,916 - £51,048) – Actual salary £13,166.40 – £20,419.20 per annum for a 0.4 FTE fixed term contract (MAT cover). The role is based in our 3-16 fully inclusive Academy, which was highlighted in our recent Ofsted inspection for outstanding progress. Our £36 million building offers state‑of‑the‑art facilities and over 60 hours of CPD and staff development programmes per year.

• Teach primary aged children as identified by the schemes of work.
• Build rapport and effective professional relationships with pupils and colleagues.
• Motivate children to work hard and try their best through a passion for learning.
• Actively share good practice and seek ways to improve teaching.
• Ensure all pupils make the expected progress irrespective of their starting point and needs.
• Understand that behaviour management starts with the quality of teaching in the classroom.
• Demonstrate personal resilience and role‑model the qualities we wish to instil in young people.

Candidate Profile

• Is a highly effective practitioner or demonstrate the potential to be so, having a clear understanding of the characteristics of high‑quality teaching and able to teach across the whole ability range.
• Will quickly build rapport and effective professional relationships with both pupils and colleagues.
• Will motivate children to work hard and try their best through passing on to them their infectious enthusiasm and passion for learning!
• Will actively share good practice and seek to explore ways to improve their own and others' teaching.
• Will work hard to ensure all pupils make at least expected progress irrespective of their starting point and individual needs.
• Will understand that behaviour management starts with the quality of teaching in the classroom.
• Will demonstrate personal resilience and role model those personal qualities we wish to instil in our young people.
