An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Physics Teacher to join our flourishing, dynamic department on a permanent basis. The position may suit a trainee teacher, a newly qualified member of the profession, or someone with more experience; in each case the successful applicant will be a strong classroom practitioner, able to meet the rewarding challenge of teaching our able and inquisitive boys from Year 7 to Sixth Form.
A strong commitment to taking part in extra-curricular activities within school is of particular importance. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and committed teacher of Physics, capable of inspiring our able and highly motivated boys from Year 7 to Sixth Form, both inside and outside the classroom. They will be a graduate with a good honours degree who has flair and vision together with the necessary academic, educational and organisational experience to succeed in a selective school. They will be committed to the welfare and individual development of all the pupils in their care.
With some 2,500 pupils, Bolton School is a large, thriving, academically selective day school. It is situated a mile or so from the town centre in a stunning 32 acre campus and is within easy reach of some of the nationβs finest cities and countryside.
Responsibilities- Teach Physics to pupils in Years 7 to Sixth Form, adopting high-quality classroom practice and contributing to a stimulating science department.
