Supported by the generous funding of the Hg Foundation, we are delighted to offer an exciting and genuinely unique opportunity for an experienced Teacher of Computing. This two‑fold role combines teaching pupils at Bolton School with a primary focus on leading and delivering Computing Partnership projects with pupils and teachers from other schools.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative part‑time (0.7 FTE) teacher to join us from September 2026 on a fixed‑term contract until 31 August 2028. There is strong potential for the role to continue beyond this period, subject to securing ongoing funding. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate clear impact and proof of concept across a range of initiatives, helping to build a compelling case for future investment. The role will be based at Bolton School, where you will teach for part of your 0.7 FTE timetable. The remainder of your time will be dedicated to outreach and partnership work, focused on raising attainment and broadening access to Computing opportunities for pupils in local state‑funded schools. You will also contribute to developing the confidence and expertise of non‑specialist Computing teachers across partner schools. Working hours will align with Bolton state school term dates rather than those of Bolton School.
