From September 2026, Bolton School seeks an inspirational and enthusiastic Teacher of Classics for its Senior Schools (Years 11-18). The role involves teaching Latin, Greek and Classical Civilisation to bright, motivated students across both girls’ and boys’ divisions.
Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess lessons in Latin and Classical Civilisation up to GCSE.
- Progress to A‑Level teaching in due course, supporting curriculum continuity.
- Engage in departmental development and contribute to extracurricular activities.
- Utilise iPads and digital resources to enhance student learning.
- Maintain strong communication with pupils, colleagues and parents through oral and written channels.
Qualifications and Experience
- Good‑honours degree in Classics or a related subject.
