The Finance Department is seeking an organised and detail‑focused Payroll Officer to manage the monthly payroll and support the Foundation’s credit control processes.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end‑to‑end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely staff payments, maintaining payroll records, and completing statutory reporting in line with legislation.
  • Provide an efficient and professional credit control service, supporting the timely collection of school fees and maintaining positive relationships with parents and guardians.
  • Support the use of finance and payroll systems and ensure all related data is accurate and up to date.
  • Maintain professional knowledge of payroll legislation, pensions and statutory reporting requirements.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end payroll processing, ideally within a complex organisation.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and the ability to manage deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Good understanding of payroll legislation, pensions and statutory reporting requirements, with experience working with finance and payroll systems.
  • Experience in credit control, debt recovery or working within an education environment is advantageous.
