Bolton School is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Instructors to work on a freelance basis, delivering climbing, paddlesport and mountain biking. The successful candidate will be instructing from Year 9 to Year 13, ensuring the relevant course is structured and continually risk assessed but also maintaining a fun environment. Relevant and current experience of working with young people in the outdoors is essential. The School uses adventure learning as a vehicle for personal and social development.
As a self-employed freelance instructor, you will be expected to have your own liability insurance. In return for your services, Bolton School has competitive rates of pay, with the rate of pay being £149 per day.
The successful candidates will ideally hold qualifications in all three areas, or at least in two of them:
- Mountain Training - Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor
- Paddle UK - White Water Kayak Leader / Advanced White Water Leader
- D1 Minibus Licence
- RYA Dinghy Instructor
- L2 or above Mountain Bike Leader
