BSS Leisure Services are recruiting a Duty Manager to work on a full-time basis. In conjunction with the Assistant Leisure Services Manager, the successful candidate will ensure appropriate staffing arrangements are in place and provide guidance to maintain high quality day-to-day leisure operations. The postholder will also take full responsibility for each shift, including the use and security of Bolton School’s leisure facilities.
The successful candidate must hold, or be willing to promptly undertake, the RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. Previous experience working in a sport and leisure environment, relevant qualifications, experience of leading and training staff, and a strong commitment to excellent customer service are highly desirable. A flexible approach to working is essential.
Typical weekly shifts are Monday to Thursday, 14:30–22:30, and Sunday, 08:00–16:00, with Friday and Saturday as days off. An attractive salary and benefits package is available.
