Technology Recruitment Consultant Job

Trading Platforms & Investment Management

180 Technology Recruiter London | Hybrid (3 days in the office) | OTE c.£100,000

There’s a common perception in recruitment that if you don’t do business development, you won’t earn the same money as a 360 recruiter. This opportunity proves that isn’t always the case. I’m working with a highly respected technology recruitment business that has built long-standing relationships with many of the world’s leading financial institutions. Their specialist team recruits into the trading platforms and investment management technology market and is looking to hire an experienced recruiter to focus purely on delivery.

This is a genuine 180 recruitment role. You’ll work with an established client base, partnering closely with experienced business developers, allowing you to concentrate on what you do best – identifying, engaging and managing exceptional candidates.

What’s on offer?

  • Permanent position
  • Hybrid working – 3 days a week in the office
  • Base of £45k plus up to 30% commission
  • Commission paid on every placement
  • No threshold
  • Realistic and proven OTE of around £100,000
  • Established client relationships with no expectation to generate new business

What you’ll be recruiting?

The team specialises in technology appointments across the investment management and trading platforms market. Experience recruiting into areas such as trading platforms, SimCorp, Aladdin, Charles River, Murex, Calypso, OMS, EMS or wider financial technology would be advantageous, although recruiters with a broader capital markets or financial technology background will also be considered.

Who would suit this role?

You’ll already have experience within agency recruitment and enjoy the candidate-facing side of the role. You might currently be a Recruitment Consultant, Delivery Consultant or 180 Recruiter who enjoys sourcing, networking and building long-term relationships but has grown tired of the constant pressure of business development. If you’re looking for a role where your delivery skills are genuinely valued and rewarded, this could be one of the most interesting opportunities currently available in financial technology recruitment.

Whilst direct SimCorp recruitment experience would be advantageous, it isn’t essential. If you’ve built a successful career recruiting within financial technology, trading platforms or investment management systems, I’d be pleased to have a confident discussion.
