An exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager or Recruitment Consultant looking to change direction. The role involves generating new sales via direct new business, channel partners and distribution networks. It will include managing existing and new relationships, educating clients about the benefits of the company’s innovative proprietary platform, analysing market trends, attending networking events, and holding seminars.

This is an exciting and growing start-up which provides enhanced due diligence services. Its clients are largely based within Financial Services, Private Equity, Legal and other highly regulated sectors, and the company is looking to expand into other areas including Recruitment and HR. The company’s technology helps businesses identify risk, screen new employees with additional confidence, therefore safeguarding their investment and building reputational resilience.

As a commercially astute and strategic thinking Business Development Manager, you will have a minimum of four years’ client-facing sales experience, preferably with knowledge of Financial Services, HR and Recruitment or Background Screening. You will have limitless reserves of energy and ideas, thrive on working in a fast-paced and frequently changing environment, and be a self-starter with strong organisational and planning skills, a strong work ethic, and high integrity.

The base salary is in the region of £50k, supplemented by a transparent personal commission structure giving an OTE in excess of £100k.
