Bolton & Menk has an exciting opportunity for a Design Engineer, EIT, to join our Land Development team. With over 75 years of experience, Bolton & Menk specializes in providing community infrastructure solutions across the Midwest, Southeast, and beyond. We are looking to add a Design Engineer - EIT who will help foster our mission that All People Should Live in Safe, Sustainable, and Beautiful Communities!
Most of your time will be assisting project managers and engineers in feasibility and final design phases on land development projects. This position is open to new graduates or an experienced EIT with 1-3 years of experience.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Assist Project Engineers with feasibility and final design activities on land development site design projects.
- Perform basic design computations, permitting, software applications, research, and prepare rough drafts of feasibility studies.
- Assist with project plans and specifications, and prepare cost and quantity estimates.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college.
- Certified Engineer-in-Training or able to obtain within 12 months of hire.
- Prior experience in infrastructure design and/or construction observation.
- Working knowledge of CAD and design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil3D).
- Valid driverβs license, as travel to various facilities and sites may be required.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 depending on experience and credentials.
