Palliative & End of Life Care Educator (Nursing Homes)

We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated Registered Nurse to work within our education team. Working in collaboration with Bolton Hospice, Bolton ICB and a cohort of local nursing homes, the role is responsible for delivering and evaluating programmes of Palliative and End of Life education and training for staff in Bolton’s nursing homes.

Band 5 £19,423-£23,425 per annum

Part Time 22.5hrs

(Fixed Term 12 months)

The Role

The post holder will work alongside the workforces to ensure practice-based learning enhances expertise and End of Life Care provisions within a cohort of nursing home settings. You will support nursing homes to develop effective learning environments by working closely with the providers and other stakeholders, delivering formal and informal training and participating in the audit and evaluation of the programmes.

What you need:

We are looking for an appropriately qualified Registered Nurse with clinical credibility and experience of palliative care. Successful candidates will also have excellent communication skills, be punctual, reliable and flexible and able to prioritise and manage their time effectively.
