We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Registered Nurse to work within our Education team. The role is responsible for developing, planning, delivering and evaluating programmes of Palliative and End of Life education and training for staff in Bolton. The role also involves developing, planning, delivering and evaluating clinical skills training for internal staff at Bolton Hospice.
The post holder will work alongside the workforces to ensure practice‑based learning enhances expertise and End of Life Care provisions within Bolton. You will work with the Education team to develop effective learning environments by working closely within the wider hospice departments and other stakeholders, delivering formal and informal training and participating in the audit and evaluation of the programmes. You will ensure that the Hospice remains committed to clinical excellence using research skills alongside updating and developing internal policies and procedures.
We are looking for an appropriately qualified Registered Nurse with clinical credibility and significant experience within palliative care. You must also have academic or teaching credibility within palliative care, experience of planning, delivering and evaluating education and training, along with a good understanding of research. Successful candidates will also have excellent communication skills, be punctual, reliable and flexible, and able to prioritise and manage their time effectively.
