Here at Bolton Hospice, our team of doctors, nurses and other professional staff provide expert care and support for local people with terminal or life-limiting illnesses and their families. We not only take care of patients' physical needs, we consider their emotional, spiritual and social needs too; and we also support families and close friends, both during illness and in bereavement.

We are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and pro-active Housekeeper to join our friendly housekeeping team.

Salary: £13,925 per annum (WTE £27,851)

Part Time: 20 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 6am - 10am

The Role: The post holder is expected to ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the hospice. The key responsibilities will include cleaning to pre-set standards and some stock control duties. There would be an expectation that you would work extra shifts to cover for annual leave and other absences.

What you need: We are looking for an experienced housekeeper with high personal standards. You must be able to work well in a team and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with an empathetic approach. It would be advantageous to have previously worked in a health care setting and to have some knowledge of infection control procedures.
