Are you a Health Care Assistant or Clinical Nursing Assistant? If so, we have some great opportunities for you within our Inpatient Unit at Bolton Hospice. We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated Health Care Assistants and Clinical Nursing Assistants to cover staff shortages or increased service demands within Bolton Hospice to support the Clinical Team. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone looking to develop skills and knowledge within specialist palliative care.
Band 3 - £13.17- £14.05 per hour
Ad hoc, flexible working hours. IPU is a 24-hour, 7-day service and the roles will therefore include weekends.
The Role
Working as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team, you will support and assist the qualified nursing staff in providing hands-on, person-centered health care to patients with complex clinical needs. This includes working in a similar capacity as a Clinical Nursing Assistant. As well as clerical and administrative duties, other duties include cleaning and ancillary responsibilities. Our health care staff strive to provide the highest quality of service for our patients and their families and carers, through a collaborative team approach.
What you need:
To apply, you must have experience within a Clinical Nursing Assistant role or health care setting and it is desirable to hold a NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Care. We are looking for someone compassionate and caring, with excellent communication and teamwork skills. You will have access to a range of training and development opportunities and be welcomed as a valued member of an experienced and supportive team.
