Job Title: Teaching Assistant TA2 SNA

Salary Grade: Grade D TA2 Scale 6-11 (£25,989 to £28,142) pro-rata to 20 hours with SNA allowance

Working Pattern: Term time + 5 days

Working Hours: 9am-1pm Monday to Friday – 20 hours per week

Interview Date: Friday 19 September and Monday 22 September 2025

Contract Type: Fixed Term to 31 August 2026

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant with a special needs allowance to join our innovative and creative team. Our governors and Senior Team are looking for a patient, empathetic and caring individual with experience and/or qualifications within the area of SEND. We are a one form entry primary school who prides itself on inclusivity and therefore our teams consistently strive for high standards for all our children by adapting the curriculum and provision to meet the needs of all our learners.

Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the class teacher and SENDCO, the successful candidate will support individual pupils with EHCPs who have a recognised special educational need in KS1 and KS2.

While this position is for a short fixed period, there may be an opportunity to extend this further.
