Teaching Assistant Level 1
Woodbridge College is a successful post 19 provision that supports young people in the Bolton area with SEND. We are also part of the Woodbridge Academy Trust in partnership with Ladywood Special School, Firwood High School and Woodbridge SEND Services. In January 2025, Woodbridge College was rated ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted.
The college is based across two sites, one in Kearsley and one in Heaton. Due to the rapid growth & expansion of our provision and increasing student numbers, we are now seeking to appoint outstanding Support Staff who are willing to ‘go the extra mile’ and are passionate about supporting students with a range of special educational needs in their learning.

Contract and Application Details
- Contract: Permanent Part-Time
- Start Date: September 2025
- Salary: Grade D, Scale Point 6 11 £25,989 – £28,142 (FTE)
- Actual salary £9,924 – £10,746, based on no continuous service, 16.5 hours per week, term time plus 1 week
- Working Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday • 16.5 hours
