We are seeking an accomplished, forward-thinking estates leader to take on the role of Director of Estates & Facilities. This is a pivotal role within the Trust, responsible for the strategic leadership of all estate and facilities functions, including capital programme delivery, infrastructure planning, lifecycle asset management, and compliance assurance across a complex, multi-site environment.
You will shape and drive a long-term Estates Strategy that supports the Trust’s educational mission and growth ambitions. This includes developing and maintaining a data-driven asset management plan, overseeing robust condition survey analysis, and aligning capital delivery with long-term investment priorities and statutory requirements.
You will be accountable for the full property lifecycle from strategic planning and acquisition to refurbishment, maintenance, and disposal ensuring our estate remains safe, efficient, and fit for purpose. Working in partnership with the Executive Team, Headteachers, site teams, and external stakeholders, you will ensure the Trust’s estate supports educational excellence both now and into the future.
This role will also lead on our sustainability and energy strategy, drive improved resilience and risk mitigation across our estate, and ensure effective governance through robust reporting to senior leadership and the Board.
