Hours: 1x 16 hours per week (£10,716-£10,857 p/a) or 2x 8 hours per week (£5,358-£5,428 p/a)
Contract: Permanent, 18+, Evening and Weekends
Essential Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS check with barred list
- JNC Recognised Youth Work Qualification
The Role:
- Engage a diverse range of young people (ages 4-17) in positive activities, providing support, advice and guidance on issues that affect them.
- Work with young people to develop their social education by delivering programmes of activities, services and facilities with learning outcomes.
- Contribute to the planning, monitoring and evaluation of sessions.
- Supervise and safeguard young people in a youth work setting, adhering to Bolton Council policies, procedures and guidance.
About You:
- Enthusiastic, approachable and capable of communicating effectively with young people aged 13-17.
- Experience working with young people and building good relationships.
- Willing to engage in a variety of activities such as sports, arts and crafts, games and project work.
- Patient, tolerant and able to work with challenging young people.
- Possesses a good level of spoken English.
