Weekend Duty Supervisor at Turton Sports Centre
Permanent Appointment Grade C SCP 5-6 £25,583 - £25,989 (£6,568 - £6,672 p.a. actual salary)
Working Hours: Sunday 8.00am - 6.00pm (9.5 hours) All year round.
We currently have a need for a Weekend Duty Supervisor to supplement the existing sports centre team at Turton Sports Centre. The hours will involve working between 8.00am and 6.00pm on a Sunday. This position could be filled by one person working the full day or a job share would also be considered.
The post holder(s) will be responsible for the supervision of the sports centre in the absence of the Sports Centre Manager and ensuring that established procedures are adhered to and that sports centre users receive a high level of service.
Applicants should demonstrate outstanding communication and customer service skills to ensure a high-quality experience for all sports centre users. We are seeking a proactive Weekend Duty Supervisor who can take initiative and work effectively as part of a team.
The Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day supervision of duty staff, including lifeguards and casual duty supervisors, ensuring they consistently carry out their responsibilities to the highest standards. Experience in staff supervision is required for this role.
