The Governors at St Mary’s CE Primary School are seeking to appoint an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work with our Early Years children.
Responsibilities:
- The candidate will work with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) pupils.
- Assist teaching staff to deliver high-quality learning experiences and support the pupils to achieve outcomes.
- Carry out administrative tasks to a good standard, including using ICT.
- Be prepared to contribute to all aspects of school life and work as part of an effective team.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in teaching assistance or equivalent.
- Experience of working within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- High expectations for all children; ability to build and maintain respectful relationships with pupils.
- High standards of spoken and written English.
- Commitment to safeguarding and equality of opportunity.

The interview process will be in two parts. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to deliver a teaching session to a full class. If successful during the first part of the interview process, candidates will be invited for interview.
