Queensbridge Primary School is looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and suitably qualified Teaching Assistant to work with children across KS1 / KS2. We have 249 wonderful children who are welcoming, diverse and eager to learn. They require a Teaching Assistant who will nurture their potential, champion high standards and bring out the best in every child. The role will include a contribution to the delivery of a differentiated curriculum enabling meaningful inclusion and access to learning for these pupils.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Enjoy working with children
- Have experience of working with children with a range of special educational needs and disabilities and also be inclusive by nature
- Have the skills and knowledge to support all children within our school
- Have the ability to build and maintain successful relationships with children, treating them with respect and kindness and demonstrating consideration for their development as learners
- Be prepared to undertake further training as necessary to complete the role to the required standard
- Use effective strategies to promote positive attitudes to learning
- Demonstrate high standards of spoken and written English
- Carry out administrative tasks to a high standard including the use of ICT
- Work well with other staff and agencies
- Be motivated, have a positive attitude and enjoy a challenge
- Have the ability to inspire children and provide high quality learning experiences
