The Governors, staff and children of St Mary’s CE Primary School are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant. This will initially be in EYFS. Our pupils are welcoming, diverse and eager to learn. They require a teaching assistant who will nurture their potential, champion high standards and bring out the best in every child.
Responsibilities:
- Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working with children of primary school age or NVQ 2 or equivalent in teaching assistance.
- Have experience of working within the Primary phase.
- Have high expectations for all children.
- Have the ability to build and maintain successful relationships with pupils, treating them with respect and kindness, and demonstrating consideration for their development as learners.
- Demonstrate high standards of spoken and written English.
- Work as part of an effective team.
- Carry out administrative tasks to a good standard, including using ICT.
- Be prepared to contribute to all aspects of school life.
