We are seeking a compassionate, energetic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our Key Stage 2, supporting a child in our year 6 cohort. This role involves helping pupils engage in planned learning activities while nurturing their physical, intellectual, emotional and social development.
We welcome applicants who hold a TA Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) and who have experience of supporting children with medical, social or emotional needs within a school setting would be highly valued. You should be confident following guidance from the Class Teacher and supporting learning both inside and outside the classroom. Strong communication skills, both spoken and written, together with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and use your own initiative, are essential for this role.
St James (Daisy Hill) CE Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All staff and volunteers are expected to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check. Bolton Council is a smoke-free employer.
