St Thomas CofE Primary School, Westhoughton, Bolton is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable Senior Clerical Assistant to join our small office team. The successful candidate will be based in our busy school office, meeting and greeting parents and visitors to our school. We are a one form entry school that includes a Nursery Unit.
The role requires a professional and responsive manner, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Prospective candidates need to have:
- Previous experience of working in a school office environment, including financial management administration.
- Knowledge of working with school office software such as Bromcom and School Money (or similar).
- The ability to work independently and as part of an effective team.
- Skills to ensure workload is prioritised and an adaptable approach is shown to each working day.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills together with a positive approach to working effectively with all members of our school community.
- The ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines as necessary.
- An ability to contribute to all aspects of school life.
- The passion to uphold the Ethos and Values of our Church school.
